Legal Documents – Privacy Policy

You can easily and freely create a Privacy Policy here at eRecht24. Let's get started!

1. Open the Settings

Click on the gear icon in the bottom left menu bar.

2. Click on "Legal Documents"

Switch to the corresponding area for legally relevant content such as Imprint, T&Cs, Privacy Policy, etc.

3. Select “Privacy policy”

Choose "Privacy policy" to be able to edit your Privacy document.

Privacy (Privacy policy document) Overview

What is it? This is your Privacy Policy. In Europe, especially because of the GDPR, you have to explain to users exactly how you collect, process, and use their personal data.

What is it for? In this document, you assure that you handle your users' data with care. You explain what data you store (e.g., name, email address), why you do it, and what rights users have over their own data (e.g., the right to view or have the data deleted).

Text Editor

This is your workspace where you write and edit the text for the selected document. At the top, you see the title, in this case, "Imprint" (Note: This is likely a screenshot error and should say "Privacy Policy"), and below it says "Edit your Imprint page" (Note: This is likely a screenshot error and should say "Edit your Privacy Policy page").

In the middle, you see the text editor. It works like a simple writing program and has all the tools you need:

• Standard Formatting: You can make text bold, italic, strikethrough, or underline​, and insert headings.

• Lists: Create bulleted or numbered lists.

• Alignment: Align your text left, centered, or right.

• Color Settings: Here you can change the font color or background color.

• More Tools: You can (explained in order from the left) insert links, upload images, insert quotes, clear formatting, or undo your last steps.

Here you have a simple and clear interface that allows you to quickly create your "Privacy Policy

Save Changes

When you have finished writing the Privacy Policy and checked all the details, click on "Save Changes" so that everything is saved and applied.
