Lesson – Basic information
The lesson is the fundamental "building block" of every course in Mentortools. It represents its own chapter within the course structure and contains all the materials a participant should work through—for example, videos, audio files, texts, or downloadable attachments. Lessons help you to organize your content into logical and easy-to-understand sections. This guide gives you an overview of the most important functions, uses, and benefits of lessons.

Tip for Course Providers
Before you start creating content, plan your lessons in advance—feel free to do this on paper or in a spreadsheet. Think about what a participant should take away after the lesson.
What should a participant know, understand, or be able to apply after each lesson?
If you have clearly defined the goal, design the lesson's content to guide participants there step by step. This significantly increases the quality of your course—and also the engagement of your participants.
